Tennis for Beginners
Tennis is a sport that combines physical activity, coordination and fun. It is an ideal way to develop motor skills, concentration and confidence, while learning the fundamentals of tennis progressively and in a way adapted to each child.
OBJECTIVES
- Introduce children to the world of tennis in a fun and motivating way.
- Develop coordination, balance, agility and basic motor skills.
- Learn the fundamental technical strokes: forehand, backhand, serve and volley.
- Become familiar with the basic rules and dynamics of the game.
- Encourage concentration, independence and self-confidence.
- Promote the values of sport: respect, effort, teamwork and personal growth.
CONTENTS
- Familiarisation with the racket, ball and tennis court.
- Coordination and psychomotor exercises applied to tennis.
- Learning the basic strokes: forehand and backhand. Introduction to serving and net play.
- Movement and positioning on the court.
- Games and activities adapted to progressively learn how to play points.
- Basic rules and appropriate behaviour on the court.
SCHEDULES
Mondays and Thursdays, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.
Activity led by Club Tennis Figueres.
Minimum of 3 participants required to start the activity.
Groups of 8 to 10 participants maximum.
FEES
€75 per term.
